Question for Pokemon Diamond

How do you get the jhoto starters because I was told you have to trade them from emerald but you can't get them on emerald help please.

There is two ways to get Johto starters in the last gen. Either transfer them from Pokemon Colleseum to you GBA games, then transfer from there, or You must complete the Pokedex on Emerald, then you can choose one of them.

You can get them on emerald you just need to fill up your pokedex and then you get a diploma and then I forget what you have to do

To get one of the Johto starters on Emerald, you have to complete the pokedex.

You have to migrate them from Emerald. To get them on Emerald, after getting the National Dex, go back to Oak's lab and he will give you one

You can get info on every hoen Pokemon not just seen then go to professor and he will give you one of the Johtos

Obtain all 200 (Jirachi & Deoxys not needed) Hoenn Dex Pokemon in Emerald. Then migrate the one you pick from Prof. Birch to D/P.
