The Spear Pillar is at the top of Mt. Corenet. It is the place you catch Dialga/Palkia. (Dialga for Diamond, Palkia for Pearl.)

The spear pillar is where you catch dialga after defeating the Galactic HQ. To get to the top, your Pokemon must know rock climb (locatedd outside of a cabin after you talk to the hiker inside of it in snowpoint city. There, you team up with your rival and defeat the commanders again. After that , your rival restores your Pokemon and you battle to boss. Then, Prof. Rowan and your other rival talk to you and then you battle/catch dialga.
