Nintendo events are not in-game events. They're held in real life in well-known cities, such as New York. That's where a lot of them are held, at least.
If you live somewhere else outside of Japan or the U.S., I think you're out of luck. But as of now, there are no Nintendo Events in the U.S.

I think it is somewhere in the U.S.A. Instead buy an action replay. Then look at the action replay codes. There are codes for all events.

Where nintendo goes to popular citys and places, that is an nintendo event
