Question for Pokemon Diamond
Hi , I need help with catching Cresselia. The dang thing just keeps running away and going to different spots and I don't have a master ball( because I used it on Mespirt)it is really bugging me, so please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok this is what you do get a fat Pokemon faster then cressialia look on serebii to look at stats then hope that Pokemon knows mean look like for ruby I use crobat to get latios and it was excat same lv

Make sure you have a level 40-50 Haunter, or if possible, Gengar, with a moveset that contains these moves: Mean Look, Hypnosis, [Ghost Move], [Dark Move].
Then, follow these instructions.
-Save your game!
-Make sure it is night.
-Get in battle with Cresselia.
-Use Mean Look right away.
-Use the ghost move.
-If Cresselia's health is the yellow/orange zone, use the dark move. If it's in the red zone, follow the next step. If Cresselia faints, turn off the DS [that is, if it's that necessary to catch her].
-When Cresselia's health is in the red zone, use Hypnosis.
-Start throwing dusk balls at her.
-If you don't catch her and she wakes up, use hypnosis again, and start using dusk balls at her again.
- Follow the above statement until you do catch her.
*Note* Cresslia is a very annoying to catch, but this method with these circumstances will make it easier.

Well get a zubat and use meanlook and it can't escape. Get at least 100 timer balls. P.S. If you say in the microphone Gotcha! It gives you a better chance of catching it!! If you need help again ill help you.:}

It changes places every time you move to a different route or town so just find two routes with grass close together and check it's location when you change to the other route the poketech will tell you if it is next to you and it also help to get a Pokemon with either I think it is mean look or scarie face to keep them there

Set your DS clock to something at night (18:00-4:00 I think) and buy some dusk balls from Snowpoint(can't think of other places that have them) and go out and look for Cresselia. When you find it throw a dusk ball and you'll have a better chance at catching it

If you still have your Eevee, evolve it into Umbreon, then level it up to level 57 and then it'll learn mean look. Another way to get an Umbreon with Mean Look is to beat the main storyline of Pokemon Colosseum, and trade your Umbreon for like, a Zigzagoon or a Wurmple, from your Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, then transfer Umbreon to Diamond. That'll leave a lot less work for your leveling it up.
