How do you make Poliwhirl evolve into Politoad and how do you make Onix evolve into Steelix?

Give Poliwhirl a King's Rock and trade it and give Onix a Metal Coat and trade it.

You have to trade Poliwhirl with a Kings Rock attached to it. You can just catch Steelix in Victory Road or on the Iron Island, or just trade it with a Metal Coat attached.

You don't need to evolve onix, you can catch wild steelix's in iron island cave.

Poliwhirl - Give it a King's Rock and then Trade it, you'll get a Poliwrath.
Onix - Give it a Metal Coat and trade it, then you'll get a Steelix. But you can catch one in Victory Road.

Trade your Poliwhirl while holding the King's Rock, and trade your Onix while holding the Metal Coat.
