Question for Pokemon Diamond

How do you get a pick and a hammer for finding spheres or stuff like that for digging please help!

They are the default tools used for digging...
I'm guessing how do you dig underground. Okay, on the top screen, there should occasionally be yellow dots/stars. In the areas that they are pointing at will be where treasures/traps can be found. So go to those areas, and once you're there, use the touch screen and, like the dousing machine, it should pinpoint exactly where the treasures/traps are. Simply put, treasures are on the wall, and traps are on the floors.
So once you're located where the treasures are, go in front of it and press "A". You'll then be at the wall, and you'll have to use a pickax or a hammer to dig up items. Select which tool you want to use, selected on the touch screen, and use it in random spots and try to dig up treasures. There will be between 2-4 treasures. You have a chance of digging up fossils, stones, plates, rocks, and spheres. Enjoy =]

Get to after flowermor town the city where the second gym leader;is right next to the Pokemon center.
