You can breed Pokemon by putting two Pokemon of the same egg group but opposite genders into the Daycare. You could also put one Pokemon and a Ditto in as well. You will get an egg with the first stage of the mother Pokemon inside (there are several cases where this will not happen, there are too many to list here).

Okay there are Pokemon groups wich effects breeding.
They must be opposite genders and same group. Remember legendaries can't be bred. After recieving in egg over an amount of time you have to run alot to hatch it.
You can also use ditto and a male or female Pokemon to get an egg.
Remember genderless Pokemon other than ditto can't be bred.
