Well, X, ACE, and Lucas are popular names if your chosing a Boy Character. Dawn is also popular for a Girl Character.
You also use your name for your character.

Most people I know use their own names, "Ash", or for Sinnoh games like Diamond "Lucas" or "Dawn" (the name of the characters).

Personally, I enjoy Ryan or Trevor for the boy.

Just do a name that has a little bit of your own name like if your name is Steven: Stevos or something

Most people just name there character ash use there own name or may remember some of the suggestions given to them in the hoen region (if you played saphire or ruby)
