How do you get out of Wayward Cave when you have Mira with you? I tried the escape rope but it doesnt work.

You have to battle your way through with her in a series of double battles.

It is just a big maze. The best way to know where you are going is to use the move flash. At least you will see where you are going. After that, all you really need to do is head south.
