Kimmy is slightly wrong you can't get Palkia on Diamond and she forgot Darkrai and Shaymin. You can also find a legendary guide under "walkthrough" here. It gives the locations of the legendary Pokemon and how to catch them.

All those are fine, but using an action replay, you can get arceus. I will now explain how you catch them all
Dialga: On diamond, just follow the story into Spear Pillar and use the master ball.
Palkia: Trade with someone that has pearl.
Uxie: Go to lake acuity after catching dialga/palkia.
Azelf: Go to lake valor after catching dialga.
Mesprit: Go to lake verity after catching dialga.
Cresselia: Talk to someone in Canalave City (I forget who) and he will tell you that his child is having bad dreams. He will take you to fulmoon island where you will see cresselia. It will run. Use the marking map to chase it.
Giratina: After gaining the national dex, go to route 214, and on the right you will see Spring Path go down there and into turnback cave.
Regigigas: If you can, migrate the 3 regis from ruby, sapphire or emerald then put them in your team, then go to Snowpoint Temple.
Heatran: Go to stark mountain after gaining nat.dex then go out of the last cavern, then re-renter.
Darkrai, SHaymin and Arceus: Action Replay cheats.
