to obtain super rod you need national pokedex then fly to the battle frountier then talk to the fishman next to the building that leads you to the next route then you obtain super rod!!!

You must first obtain the national dex then go to the fight area and go all the way to the left and talk to the fisherman in front of the building you go trough to route 225.
