bad egg
I have had a bad egg for about a year now and at first it said it will take a long time to hatch. Now it says it will hatch soon. Will it hatch or will it stay an egg forever?

Bad Eggs aren't supposed to hatch, and never have been. You could keep trying with it to see what happens, though.

I've heard that Bad Eggs hatch, and then your game gets, for lack of a better word, screwed. I wouldn't try it.

Iv'e seen this happen first hand while I was watching my brother play. The Egg DOES hatch, it'll just hatch into another Egg. The game didn't freeze or anything, we were just mad.

It will just hatch into a Pokemon called error and freeze the game. So I would not try.
