Date of Question: Nov 1 2009 | Question ID: 146833 My kadabra doesn't listen to me when I want it to attack, or it uses the wrong move!!! Can someone tell me why and how I can deal with it? Because it's annoying |

Did you recieve it in a trade? Because if you did, then you have to beat more gym leaders. When you earn their badges, Pokemon will obey you at higher levels.

Its probably because you don't have enough gym badges.

You're going to need the right amount of gym badges. IF you don't have enough and the Pokemon is a high level from a trade, it will next to never listen to you.

Every odd number of gym badge you get will make your Pokemon obey you at higher levels. 1 gym badge = up to lv 10 will obey you, 3 gym badges = Up to lv 30 will obey you and so on. You can also get it to obey you just over time with lots of battles(always keeping it healthy), and giving it poffins, etc.
