Breeding Problems

Breeding Problems

Hi all

Thanks to those who answered my previous question. Ok, I'm having some serious problems breeding some Pokemon. I wanted a Chimchar with Thunderpunch, so I bred the female Infernape with a male Medicham, and when I got the egg it didn't know Thunderpunch. Also, I wanted to get a Snubbull with Close Combat, so I bred a female Snubbull with a male Lucario, and yet still no Close Combat. I hatched two eggs and still no move. So can anyone tell me if it is me just being REALLY unlucky or if they do learn the moves later on or something? I really would like a strong Granbull and I really want it to know Close Combat.

Cheers all

Well I'm not sure what two Pokemon you should breed to know those moves but why don't you just train your chimchar, eventually he will learn it. Or if you have an action reaplay you can get the Tm or whatever they are called

Torterra99 answered:

Moves that are not TM's or are learned at high levels will not transfer to an egg.

Guest answered:

the one parent needs to know the move first
