To get through Victory Road, you must have the moves Strength, Rock Smash, Surf, and Rock Climb. To get through, you have to work through a long maze filled with many trainers; so have Pokemon that are all past level 50 at least.
To get Gabite, go to Wayward Cave and catch Gible, then evolve it.
You cannot get Charizard until you beat the game, and you must either trade with a freind or migrate it from a GBA game using Pal Park and the dual slot feature.
