I need to search for Mew but it isnt in the option list in the global trading station because it isnt in my pokedex is there any way I can search or leave a Pokemon to trade for mew

If you never saw a Mew, the only way to get it is for someone to give it to you.

If Mew is nowhere to be found in your Pokedex (data and/or picture) you can't even ask for it in the GTS, sorry. Once you get one into your Pokedex, it will be available for you in the GTS.
