what is this

Hey does anyone know what this is? Ok so I was playing my Pokemon diamond and I was looking at my Pokemon and they all have this little smiley next to where it says exp. Points and I just wanted to know what that stood for

It probably means that friendship within the Pokemon has increased to the maximum level. Otherwise saying, you maxed out the friendship. Hope this helps you out.

That smiley next to a Pokemon's experience points shows that your Pokemon has Pokerus. Also known as the Pokemon Virus. Yes, viruses are usually bad, but with Pokerus, you are lucky to have it. You see, if a Pokemon has Pokerus, their experience points will increase more than usual. Now you may be wondering, "How can I get more Pokemon to have Pokerus?" There is really just one answer for that: Luck. To find out whether or not if a Pokemon of your's has it, go to any Pokemon Center and talk to the lady behind the counter. She will tell you if a Pokemon of your's has it after she gets done healing your team.
