shiny starter pokemon
Can you get the starter Pokemon Chimchar piplup and turtwig in shiny without AR code thing because I don't know how to use them or put them on my dsor even just one of them

Actually,starters have a 1/8192 chance of being a shiny if you soft reset(ds games SR is L+R+Start+Select while 3ds games are L+R+Start)pokeguy121 answered:
I was told there is a verry verry VERRY low chance of it happening but you have to save the game befor you get the starters and keep restarting until you get a shiny. I think it's 1 in 8700 chance.

My friend got a shiny turtwig by saving, praying, pressin A-l-y-then b as the game restarted.

You just get lucky only 0.1 % out of 10000 it's just stupid reseting 1000 times but it's your game you decide then I;ve done this for 10 years and I still don't have a shiny =(

Guys I know this you have to save before you can pick your starters then if you don't see any shiny soft reset by pressing L+R+SELECT+START and keep on doing that until you get a shiny starter it worked for me even though it took me a little while but it's worth it. I have Pokemon Diamond.

Either breed , which has a 1/2039 chance if it is 2 starters or a 1/3492 if it isn't the same pokemon. If you find that boring try SR method ( L+R+SELECT+START= Soft Reset ) which is a 1/8964 chance. I know this because I have 7 Shiny Starters. I have a Shiny Froakie in pokemon Y , all 3 shiny starters in diamond and all 3 shiny starters in Black 2If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
