Hi, I'm having troble with Wi-Fi. On it I serched for Mew and couldn't find it's name! I was going too ask for one but, the same thing happend. Why is this?

It is more than likely because you haven't actually seen a Mew, only on the GTS if you see the Pokemon then you can find them there, if you haven't seen them then their name wont show up. I hope this helps.

It's kind of stupid, but you have to have the Pokemon on your pokedex to search for it.

Because you must have it in your pokedex before you can ask for it. (seen not caught)
