Ok, I'm confused here, the game only cheaks what Pokemon you SEEN and some one said you get the natuila pokedex AFTER you complet the first one, so, do you need to cach all the Pokemon or see all the pokemon? And can I defet the elit 4 and not wrroir about the pokedex?

To answer your question you only have to see all of the Sinnoh Pokemon to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex. Then you have to go see Professor Rowan and after a scene of dialouge you obtain the national Pokedex. You can also beat the Elite Four without needing to have completed the Sinnoh Pokedex.

Unlike most games there are THREE objectives to beat the game. The first objective is to defeat the Pokemon League. The second objective is to SEE every Pokemon in sinnoh. The third is to CATCH every Pokemon in the national dex. If you want you can just complete mission one and say you have beaten the game but then you only completed one third of it.

Good question. I own Dimond and know just about everything there is to know about it. To complete the original pokedex all you have to do is see them all. You don't have to catch them. Once you see them all go to Professer Rowan's lab and talk to him. And you don't need to worry about it during the Elie Four. Hope this helps. If you need more information about the game just ask.
