What is the up grade and how do I get it to evolve porygon?

You receive the Up-Grade from Professor Oak, as a gift, in either Pal Park or his House in Eterna City (Lowest House, South). You must trade Porygon with the Up-Grade on it, to make it evolve.

You get the Up-Grade from Prof. Oak after getting the National Dex. You give it to Porygon and trade to evolve

You get it from Prof Oak when you complete your pokedex, trade porygon while he is holding it to make him evolve
