Hi, you know how you can catch a red garados well my freind caught a blue fire ponyta! Is threr a way for me to get it thanks.

These are both called "Shiny" Pokemon (Pokemon of a different color), it is completely random, and you have a low chance of seeing them in the wild.

The Blue Ponyta is a shiny Pokemon there is a 1/1000000000 chance of encountering a shiny Pokemon.

You can catch both of those in Diamond and Pearl. Those are what you call "shiny" Pokemon. Warning: shiny Pokemon are extremely rare to come across. Well, without using a cheating device.

Well I caught a gold one in emerald it's a highly rare Pokemon and if you breed it it will turn out normal so yer
