When you have the friendship checker selected, it'll have your party Pokemon on it. Then you just tap the Pokemon whos friendship you want to check and itll display either no hearts, one heart, two hearts, or two BIG hearts (you'll have to hold it to see if theres more than one heart). Also if you tap NEAR a Pokemon, depending on how much it likes you, itll either come towards the stylus or run away from it, the latter meaning it doesnt like you at all.
Also neat but absolutly pointless: by tapping the empty area twice, all the little 2D Pokemon will jump up! Smile But, yeah, that doesnt really mean anything

Check you Pokemon if they have hearts above them. If they have 1 small heart, your friendship with him/her is not good. If they have 2 big hearts, your friendship with him/her is great.

With the stylus you touch and hold the Pokemon and up to 2 hearts will pop up if there are 2 hearts and the become bigger that means they have full friendship the less stars the less your Pokemon like you
