how 2 find mesprit
I already went to the cave & he flew away & I got the thing 2 find him with, but everytime I'm exactly where he is he moves away again! Plz tell me how 2 properly find him & maybe catch him. Thnx

The thing is Mesprit changes place every time you enter a new zone (when you enter a city or new route). The way I caught him was by staying in the same two zones (Ex: in Pastoria City and Route 212). Every time I enter one of this areas, I checked where Mesprit was until I got lucky and had Mesprit's icon blinking on and off on the screen in the same area I was in. Then, I walked on the grass, and he appeared.

He moves when you move to a new location. Keep alternating between one route and city and wait until he lands at the route.

If you fly to a different town, or change routes he changes the place he is at. It is just like The legendary dogs, Latios and Latias and Cresselia.

If you DO NOT run and keep folloing mesprit then it will STOP running from you. Then you can battel it.
