Burmy is rare to find. But there is a trainer in the Eterna Forest who has a Burmy in her team. Fight her to see it. But you can always have a rare chance on finding Burmy in the trees you slather honey on.

Since I've never played Ranger: "When you are ready to transfer the egg to a D/P game, there is also an option in the Ranger Net menu which allows you to initiate the transfer. Burmy can be found by two different ways, the first is to put honey on a honey tree, and hope it will be a Burmy that gets attracted, but many other Pokemon may appear, too. The other is too find a girl trainer in Eterna Forest and battle her, this will add Burmy to your Pokedex.

1) Burmy are found in honey trees. They are very rare. You could also find the trainer in Eterna Forest that has it.

2) Go to the Ranger Net menu. Select the 'check on egg' selection. I'm not exactly sure if that's exactly what the selection is called. Anyway, you need a 2nd DS for this. Somewhere in there it should tell you to transfer the egg to Diamond/Pearl. Then, in the Diamond/Pearl main menu, where it shows "New Game" etc., select the one that has to do with Pokemon Ranger. Follow what it says, and there you go.

!) If you are trying to catch it then you have to use a honey tree. (I've never successfully found a Pokemon of any kind on a honey tree) But if you need one to complete your Pokedex then go to Eterna Forest and there is a trainer there who has a Burmy in her party. Just battle her and you will get Burmy inputed into your pokedex.

2) I don;t know. But follow Sk8rboy's advice. It might be right.

1) like everyone has said, burmy is very rare to catch from a honey tree, however I have done it. The best trick is to travel around Sinnoh, finding honey trees and slathering them with honey. Then mark the place where the trees are on your Poketch, using the app that allows you to drag symbols onto the map. Wait a while, perhaps 8 hrs, then go back to all the trees and check them. By using this technique, I caught a burmy. If it doesnt work the first time, do it again. It may seem tedious, but the results are worth it. Remember, a male burmy evolves into a mothim and a female burmy will evolve into a wormadam, and it will keep the coat it has when it evolves.

2) Like Sk8rboy said, you'll need a 2nd DS. Go to the ranger net option, and click the check egg. Select the option where you can send it to a diamond/pearl version, and let the wireless connectivity run. Power up the 2nd DS with your diamond/pearl and go to the loading screen that says Continue, New Game, and Wifi Options. Select the one that has to do with Pokemon Ranger. Your manaphy egg will be wirelessly transmitted, and you can then pick up your egg at any Pokemart from the green man. Make sure your team has an open slot Then all you have to do is hatch the egg and Congrats! You have a manaphy! Be aware that your Ranger game can only transmit one manaphy egg, and your diamond/pearl can only aquire one manaphy egg. This means that you cannot transmit a manaphy egg from Pokemon ranger and Pokemon ranger: shadows of Almia to the same game. Also be aware that Manaphy can breed and have a Phione, but Phione cannot evolve into Manaphy.
