How do I transfer Pokemon from Ruby version to Diamond version?

You have to have the national dex but it is at the begining were you choose new game or start yours that you have already and in your ruby you need 6 Pokemon in one of the boxes and choose those pokemon.

Get national dex and put your ruby in the gba slot of your ds...turn it on and instead of going to continue game go down to migrate from ruby...the six Pokemon have to be I your pc on ruby...select them....follow the steps and then once it says the were sucsesfully migrated then continue diamond game and fly down to the pal park to catch them

You first need the National Pokedex. You then go to the Pal Park (past the path below Sandgem Town. When at the Pal Park, save the game. You now need to have Ruby in the GBA slot in your DS. Now, go to the game main menu. Where it says "New Game", "Continue", etc. Select "Migrate from Ruby." Next, select 6 Pokemon from Ruby to transfer to Diamond. Both games will automatically save when you finish choosing the 6 Pokemon. Those 6 will now be in the Pal Park. Get back on Diamond, and to the Pal Park event. Catch all 6 Pokemon there, and they will be on your Diamond.

All you have to do is get the national dex then insert the ruby to the bottom of your DS. At the main screen it will say migrate from ruby. Click on that.( Pokemon that you want must be in the box) click on the six you want, migrate them, then go to the pal park. There talk to the guy and you have to find the Pokemon in the pal park.
