boulders - i cant use strength to move them

I have strength and I have taught it to a Pokemon but I am unable to use it becuase I need a new badge to be obtained. I am at Celestic Town and need to go through Mt. Coronet to get to Snowpoint city but I can't get through. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this ot a way aroung this. I have 5 gym badges.

To be able to use Strength outside of battle, you have to obtain the 6th badge by beating the Gym Leader in Canalave City.

Use surf to canalave city by going left to where you got old rod from in jubilife beat the gym there and you will be able to use it

You need the snowpoint badge to do it becauseyou got to find another part of the cave

I am in the same position but in salecoon town or whatever. I also cant get to canalcave because all the electricity there shut down. I have four gym badges. anyone got a suggestion?

You have to go to hearthome city. That is where you battle the fifth gym leader. You arrive at heartome city before you go to veilstone and pastoria. You battle maylene the gym leader of veilstone. And then battle crasher wake the gym leader of pastoria.Since you already have four gym badges you go to hearthome city.
