Sorry, but there is no great rod, but here are the locations to the other ones:
Good Rod - Route 209
Super Rod - Fight Area
Old Rod - Jubilife City

In the platinum pokemon book the only way to catch a shelder in by using a great rod on route 205. Any answers?Tingle_101 answered:

Sorry, but the "Great Rod" doesn't exist. You must be talking about either the Good or the Super Rod. To find the Good Rod, talk to a fisherman in Route 209. To find the Super Rod, talk to a fisherman in the Fight Area.

At the battle area.walk up.you should see a kid with a blue shirt on talk to him and he will give it to you.

I beleive you can find it in the fight zone,theres a fisherman to the upper left corner of the area.hope I helped!
