Happiness evolution
I've heard that a certain ammount of steps then leveling up can evolve a Pokemon based on happiness. How many steps do I need?

This is indeed true. However it's a staggering number of steps. If memory serves me right it's about 13000 if the Pokemon is holding a soothe bell. It will be double that if they are not holding the soothe bell. But keep in mind that Pokemon have different levels of happiness when they are first obtained, the number I have given is an average and could go up or down depending on what Pokemon it is.

If you want I can make you an action replay code for any Pokemon to have max friendship.
