I have a question it's been bothering me for sometime can you battle people on wifi without the friendcode and battle people just like if you had their friendcode but without the talking or trades and where do I go to get it and I'm not talking about the battle tower

Well, other than the Battle Tower, there is absolutely no way to do this. The Battle Tower is the only way you can battle people over WiFi without using Friend Codes.
