Does this ability exist?
Does anyone know of an ability that draws in all fire type attacks the same way the lighningrod draws in electric attacks and storm drain draws in water attacks? Have been looking but can't find one
Comment:(Jun 26 2008) Thanks for the help guys. Think the pokemon gods had a slight oversight in not putting an ability that makes all fire moves target the pokemon that has the ability.(how long would it take to kill steel type walls in double battles if this ability existed????)

Ah yes, luckily for you, the creators of Pokemon did decide to add that rather useful ability into the game. The ability is actually called Flash Fire, and like you were saying, it does draw all of the fire attacks used in the battle towards the Pokemon that has the ability. Some Pokemon that have this special ability are Ponyta, Rapidash, and Vulpix. If for some reason, the ability does not make all fire moves target that Pokemon, then chances are that it probably doesn't exist.

Yes it does exist it's called flash fire; ponyta, rapadash, vulpix, and ninetales all have it

The only one I can think of is Flash Fire and the vuklpix evolution chain and ponyta evolution chain have it. But I don't know if it draws in fire moves or if the Pokemon is hit by fire it powers up.
