How can I battle people around the world if I have their pal pad code

Connect to WiFi and go into the basement of the PokeCenter, or Battle Tower, ad then log on from there, and you can battle / trade / talk to people around the planet who have Diamond or Pearl.

Well, to do this you have to go to the basement of the Pokecenter and connect to Wi-Fi. Here you can trade and battle anybody, if you have there Friend code. But, if you do not have a Wireless Router of some sort, then I'm afraid you won't be able to use Wi-Fi.

OK, first of all, exchange fc's (friend codes) which you said you did. After that go to any Pokemon center or the battle tower and go the down the elevator on the right or west side. Talk to the second or third lady, save your game, and enter. Your screen should come to a sort of blue background with a Pikachu and a Pichu. Then a window should open up asking if you want to connect to Wi - Fi. If you know how to connect, then go ahead. If anyone that you exchanged friend codes with is online, you can interact with them by Trading, Battling, or simply Talking. I hope this helps.

If you have the person's Pal code, then the only thing that you need to do in order to battle them is to get connected with Nintendo WI-FI. Go into any Pokemon Center in the game, and go down the escalator until you reach the bottom floor. Talk to one of the woman there in order to go into a special room and get started with battling or trading your Pokemon. You can also find a forum here where you can find lots of Pokemon platers, and their friend codes. Visit the Pokemon Diamond forum here.
