Oh my gosh, I love questions like these. Its something easy for a change, lol. There are several different ways that you can increase your Riolu's happiness level. On way that you can make Riolu more happy is by leveling him up, and letting him battle. Another way to increase his happiness level is to not let him faint in any battles as Pokemon do not like getting knocked out, and if you use potions on him. Why let some nurse heal him, take care of your Pokemon yourself. If you have any vitamins and minerals in your back pack that you can give to your Pokemon such as Carbos, Protein, Zinc, Iron, or Calcium then go ahead and feed them to your Riolu. He will get stronger, and become more happy. Another way to make him more happy is to take him to a woman's house in Veilstone City every day so that he can receive a free massage. If you use these methods, then your Riolu will evolve into a Lucario in no time.

Just have him in your party for a while
Give him a soothe bell
Have some battles with him
And give him minerals like protein calcium etc..


He will evolve in daylight

There are many ways to get any Pokemon happy. One way is to keep using it in battles. Another way is that you can give him minerals like calcium, iron, etc. Riolu will evolve in the daytime if done enough of the requirements.

In case all of you haven't noticed, these are the Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of darkness questions. You all answered diamond and pearl. I mystery dungeon, give it lots of gummis, orenge gummis have the most effect. To evolve it in mystery dungeon, go to luminous spring, and make sure riolu has at least two IQ stars, and you have a sun ribbon in your treasure bag

by give riolu many calcium, zinc, protein, calcium, etc...
by levelng him up..
by give him berries, likes: oran berry...
and train him in daytime...
it will evolve...
