You cannot get a lot of Masterballs in the game. You can only get 1 Masterball in the entire game, and if you have used that on a Pokemon already, then I am sorry to say that you will have a much harder time catching legendary Pokemon. If you have not yet used your Masterball, or if you are looking for the Masterball, then you can find it in Team Galactic's base. After you find the Team Galactic Leader Cyrus in the base, defeat him and then after the battle he will give you the only masterball. If you want to clone your Masterball then you will have to get a Nintendo Wi-FI connection and use the cloning glitch. An alternative method to cloning is to use an Action Replay DS, and using that will give you 999 Masterballs.

You have one shot. One single masterball in the whole game.

The only way you can have more is by Action Replay, or by trading a guy whose Pokemon is holding a masterball.

There is also a duplicate glitch, but you need WIFI, and it is much harder than in previous games. Whoever showed you more than one masterball is almost guaranteed to have used Action Replay.

If you go to the place with the giant TV above it in Jubilife city, and play the Pokemon ID game, and ALL 5 of the digits are correct, you will get a master ball. This and getting the other one from Cyrus in team Galactic's Headquarters are the only ways to get the master ball without cheating. Of course, it would be a lot easier just to get an action replay or gameshark.

Well, you can use an Action Replay to get 999 Masterballs. That's your best bet. There is another way though, Go to Jubilife City, and to the Jubilife City TV Station. There, on the first floor, you will find the Pokemon ID game, behind the counter in the back of the room. If you get all 5 numbers correct, you will recieve a Masterball.
