Well, yes, you do have to have the disk in order to have access to the Action Replay Code Manager. I mean, after all, it is stored on the disk, so it is extremely important to the find the disk if you have lost it, or to obtain one if you do not have it. However, you should not have to worry about not having one. The disk comes in the same package that the Action Replay is in when you buy it from the store. However, if you do not have one, then you might have to order one from a website somewhere, or see if you can some way to download the Action Replay Code Manager to your computer. If you really need to, find a friend that has the Action Replay disk, and take it. Use it, and then return it to him/her.

You only need the disc to load Code Manager, if you have already done that then you don't need the disc for anything else unless you have to reload code manager.
