needing help on modifier

Well, I suggest that you look over the code, and make sure that you are pressing down the button that you are supposed to press down. Are you supposed to hold the L button, or are you supposed to hold the R button? You should also look at a National Pokedex while you are using the Modifier code so that you know how many Masterballs you need to throw away before you can encounter the Pokemon that you want to catch. If the code does not work after you do the first two things, then I suggest that you look over the code, and make sure that you have the correct code, and that you are holding the button down at the correct time. If the number of masterballs you throw away is the pokemon's number in the national dex then that is why because you have to have that number of masterballs IN YOUR BAG. Also it just sometimes happens that the Pokemon doesn't appear but if you just keep walking you will eventually get the Pokemon you want.

You don't throw out the pokedex number you have to subtract from the pokedex number of that Pokemon from 493 and that is the is the number you throw out. When you have done that check the number of master balls that is in your pack should be the pokedex number of that pokemon.
