What is the chances for a shiny encounter and how do you get a shiny charmander?

I hate to tell you this, but, the chances of you actually having an encounter with a Shiny Pokemon are slim to none. To tell you the absolute truth, the chance of you encountering a Pokemon that is Shiny is only 8,192 to 1. This means that if you run around and battle over 8,000 Pokemon, only One of them might be a Shiny Pokemon. If you want to get a shiny Charmander, then you will have to do One of two things. The first thing you can do is buy an Action Replay DS, and see if there is a code for a Shiny Charmander. The second thing that you could do is have someone trade you the Shiny Charmander. Yoou can get a charmander and a action replay and find a shiny code on the internet. Chances of finding a shiny Pokemon is very rare so I whould do that. Hope this helps.

You have a chance of 1/8192 to catch a shiny Pokemon in this game.
To get a shiny charmander you must encounter it by using an Action Replay Code or trade it on WiFi or from a friend.
