Ok this is a question for all and especialy CiG but if I use the steal Pokemon code when I battle a friend. Can I catch there pokemon? Please answer ASAP!!!!!

*Sigh* Why does everyone always want to try and steal others people Pokemon? Guess it does not matter if it is someone you know, or someone you don't, you have to try and still their Pokemon. I have to ask you why? You can get the same Pokemon that your friends have if you just take the time to train your Pokemon, or find the right code for Action Replay. I cannot tell you whether or not the code will work because I do not know, I don't try to steal people's Pokemon, but I think it will. Just have to try it, and watch out for any punches that your friend throws at you if you steal his Pokemon.

Easy answer. No.
Not going to happen, unless you can successfully trick the DS, not the game, into letting you use items during linked play.
Remember that during linked play, you cannot use items. Also, during linked play remember that it isn't the game linked to the other game, as it is one DS linked to another DS.
And as far as I know, there is no Action Replay code that can trick the system itself, just the game.
So just to wrap up, this will never ever ever happen, no matter how hard you try.

I agree with cheating-is-good. Instead of getting Pokemon the super-cheap way, I recommend the semi-cheap way. Find the Pokemon modifier action replay code. That can get you any Pokemon (even legendaries) instead of just some Pokemon that your soon-to-be-not friend happened to find. Or you can use the not-cheap-at-all way and just use the GTS. Just remember to trade your friend's Pokemon back if you somehow steal it.
P.S. Note to cheating-is-good: Good joke about the punch-throwing
