I keep hearing rumors about a Pokemon named shayman is it real and if it is how do you find it?

Yes Shaymin is real, it kinda looks like an echinda/ant eater. It is a grass type and is nimber 492 in the naational pokedex. You can get it by cheating, or you get the nintendo event which gives you Prof. Oaks Letter, then the big shiny rock on route 224 will have a shaymin waiting on it.

Oh indeed, it is real. This is one of the few times that rumors actually turn out to be true. There is a Pokemon called Shaymin, somehow, he is a legendary Pokemon, but I do not think that he should be. To put it quite frankly, Shaymin is like a stronger version of Magikarp, except that he does not evolve into a huge behemoth.
But that is just my opinion. Anyway, Shaymin can be found on Route 224, but that is only after you go to a Nintendo Event and receive the item called Oak's parcel via WI-FI.
So you do not have to worry about him right now. Hope this helps.

Yes Shaymin is real. To get this Pokemon you must go to a Nintendo Event and recieve Oak's parcel/letter. Or you can use action replay or Gamesshark to cheat and get Shaymin.

OK, first of all he is AWESOME when you level it up to Lv. 100. That's when he learns seed flare. (I have proved you wrong, cheating-is-good. Yes I have one. Now would you please stop saying mean things about it?!) and like cheating-is good said, you can get it by mystery gift. BUT, if you use the action replay you can get it by going to route 224. Then, right by that white rock, walk across the water. Then after 10,000 years, (just kidding! The sea break path is just really long.) you will come to an island and go up the stairs and battle it. CAUTION: it is only Lv. 30. Good luck! Silvermoon101

Of course shaymin is real I have him he is one of the legendary Pokemon and is number 492, shaymin is a grass type, you can get him by the big rock on route 224 after you beat the Pokemon league. You can get him by cheatcodes or on a nintendo event and get an item called Oak's Parcel.

Shayman is one of my favorites!
You can only get it by an event or action replay. I reccomend action replay. It is real!!!
Pokemon Number 492.
PS, Its in the 11th movie coming out in japan on July 16 and should have Grintina and Dialga in it. It should be awsome!
