Mystery Gift

Hey everybody, me again! Yesterday, I went to my friends house with my DS and Diamond. We both had mystery gift so we tried using it. We tried all options (except for the Wi-Fi one)and it shoould no bars of signal, and we had our DS's not even a centimeter away. We waited a long time and nothing worked. How do we use mystery gift?

Yes, Pokeking is right. The only time that you can connect to someone using the Mystery Gift feature is during a Nintendo Event. You have to connect through by using Nintendo WI-FI. Then you can receive your gift, or item event from the event person. You cannot use Mystery gift outside of Nintendo events for some reason. Hope this helps.

That is exactly what happened to me but I thought that it was becsuse of the nintendo events. Things like manaphy you get from mystery gift and I think the azure flute ect you get from mystery gift as well. I don't think it is like the gen. 2 games when you could connect with anybody and get anything.

Anyway, I'm also confounded with most of it but that is my reasonable explanation.
