First of all no It dose not delete yur data what I did is I deleted all the games I didn't have to make more room and alot faster to put in cheats. Now on to Teach you how to put POKEMON cheats. First, you open up yur action replay on the PC. What I did is I draged the Pokemon diamond from the SUBCRIPTIONS on the top "US" MY OPINION to MY CODE LIST.

Then, from there I opened the Pokemon on the bottom Where it says My Code List When you open it you see alot of cheats There you right click anywhere on the game codes (NOT ON THE FOLDER CHEATS. IF U WANT U COULD OR IF U WANT TO MAKE A FOLDER AND DRAG A CHEAT TO PUT ON THERE TO BE MORE ORGANIZED)After you right click anywhere you go down where it says add new cheat from there you name it what ever you want.

Lastly, This is where you Copy and paste the cheat on. Then when your done Obviously you press DONE. This is where Myself got confused too. When your done putting as many cheats as you want press the minus button on the Pokemon in the MY CODE LIST you plug in the USB wire to your AR. Put in the AR, Turn on your DS go to the mouse on the top left of the touch screen. Now on the PC you will see that the games on the AR on the left. Then from the MY CUSTOM CODE LIST on your PC drag the Pokemon Game to the left. A window come up it will say THERE IS ALREADY THIS SAME DATA JUST PRESS YES OR ACCEPT **AGAIN IT WON'T DELET ANY DATA** After you accept look at your DS's touch screen keep watching it untill you see a green bar go by. After that turn off your DS and you will have the codes for the Pokemon game. And your done

Well, NO ar codes DO NOT delete your game file. I know, I use them. And "copy and paste" is where you are on ar code manager, click software upgrade to be able to do it. (unless you have windows vista.) then, you add your game to coustom codelist then highlight the code only and copy it
Then go to add new code and paste. Taa daa

Firstly, do you own an Action Replay (AR) if not then the codes wont work.

If you do, then have fun some codes are dodgy and you will do more than lose your game data. Only use reputable codes, and that's a hard thing to do.

No, using an Action Replay code should not do anything to your saved game data besides what you want it to do. So, you should not have to worry about your data being erased, it could happen though, so be careful with what codes you use. To use an Action Replay code, you have to go out and buy the Action Replay DS. You cannot just use the codes, you would no way to put them in the game without the device. When they say copy and paste codes, they mean putting them into the device.

So before you can do anything, you have to buy the Action Replay device.

Well now I need help when I go to add a new game codelist it asks for a game name (pokemon diamond) then it asks for a game ID (what is this) also a Game Code (what is this) please help
