I am sorry, but this is just a big NO. You need to decide for yourself what a great team of Pokemon is, no one here can do it for you. YOU will have to decide the moves that each Pokemon knows, the items that each Pokemon will hold, and the six Pokemon that you yourself will raise, and train. Just play the game, and everything will come to you.

Just like CIG said (Sup CIG!), there is NO best team or anything. YOU hve to choose the Pokemon, YOU have to choose the items, YOU have to choose the moves, and YOU have to build up your team to become powerful!

Ok while I am not a perfect Pokemon player at all, and I think you should make your own team, I'm going to help you out a little, here is a list of pokes that you should choose from when making your team, I'm not saying "use them" I'm just saying think about using them and explore with them, so here they are.
Aerodactyl attack sweaper
Weavile attack sweaper
Garchomp attack sweaper
Gengar sp atk sweaper
Blissey spdef wall
Skamory def wall
Starmie sp atk sweaper
Dusknoir (has good defence and sp defence)
Thats just a list of pokes that are really good and you should consider raising up, also make sure you put there ev's and iv's in the right places(stats) that way you use them at their best, so I suggest researching the pokes before raising, look at there stats and see what you want to raise their stats in, and just think of strategys, you should have a great time doing this, I know I did, I also suggest you look at the Pokemon pearl walkthrough on this site, because it has a stat searcher and you can see what every pokemons stats can get up to, that way you can see which pokes are better then others.

That is totally up to you wich ones you want and you really need to consider legendarys. Just play the game and you will get a idea of what you want. Hope this helps.

Just pick 6 Pokemon which consists of all types and that are strong with the right items held for each pokemon. I hope this helps you alot.

Okay, I just want to clarify something. Just because a Pokemon is a Legendary does not mean that they are strong, alright? There are Pokemon out there that when leveled up, are alot stronger than any Legendary Pokemon. Get Pokemon that you like, and will train. Not Pokemon that are 'strong' and you want them simply because they are legendary.
