What's Pokerus?

Pokerus is a good virus. If a POkemon contracts Pokerus it is a good thing not a bad thing, you get it from battling wild Pokemon, it is quite rare. If you have a pokmeon with Pokerus make sure yo uspread it through all the Pokemon in your party and your Computer. It gives you twice the amount of EV's that you would usually get for beating a pokemon. I think I have covered the bacics of Pokerus.

Pokerus is an infection, or virus, that can affect your pokemon...in a good way. Whenever your Pokemon are infected with Pokerus, a smiley face icon will appear in their summary, and the Pokemon center nurse will tell that your Pokemon are infected, and that they look stronger than usual. Now as to what Pokerus actually does to help your pokemon....

While your Pokemon is infected with the virus, they will get a bonus treat in every level. They will gain double experience earned, and whenever they level up, their stats go up higher than they should because the virus increases their EV's.

Another nice thing about the Pokerus virus is that it can be spread to your other pokemon. All you have to do is leave in a PC box for a while. It will go away though.

It's a legendary disease that increases a pokemon's stats 10 fold. The chances of getting it are 10,000 to 1
