Ok so I acidentally made all three Pokemon (that I saved) faint. What do I do now that I acidentally defeated them?!
and wats the elite four?

Well since you saved, there's no way to bring them back [if you're talking about Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, that is]. Otherwise, you need to trade from other Diamond or Pearl versions, or cheat.
The Elite Four is the final test that you must take to prove that you truly are the Pokemon Master. You go through a series of four battles, and then finally the Champion battle for the final decision.
...It's known to be the final test, but there's still a lot for you to do once you did beat the Elite Four.

The Elite Four are the four Biggest, and strongest trainers in Sinnoh, they are well known for their power. Behind them, is the Champion, Sinnoh's number one Pokemon Master, you have to beat them all. I know you are talking about Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie. Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do to bring them back, or capture them again unless you restart the game, use an Action Replay Cheat Device, or trade them to your game from someone else.

You need a re-battle cheat for Mesprit,Azelf & Uxie.
The elite four is the hardest challenge to go though.Here are the types:

Everyone is correct about everything you said. I just wanted to add something. When you go up against the Elite 4, you have to beat all 5 of them in a row. You are not allowed to leave between battles, so you cannot rest our pokemon. Because of this, I highly advise you to stock up on healing items. Also, have a well balanced team with as many different types of pokemon. Finnaly, train each member of your team to AT LEAST 60ish. --Gamez_Freak--

The elite four are the 4 Pokemon trainers that you hav 2 beat in order to get to the champion. When you beat the 4 and the champ, you complete the game I think
