Where do you get a good electric type without AR?Which route,too.

You can get a Pikachu, I think you can catch one from the Eterna Forest. It does not need to be an Electric Pokemon, you can just teach a Pokemon an Electric Move.

Well, Luxray is pretty good. He evolves from Lucario at level 30, who is evolved from Shinx at level 15. Shinx can be found on Routes 203 and 204.

I sujest a pichu, then evolve into a pikachu, it can be found in the trophy garden.

Either Pikachu or Luxray, but I would go with luxray, it learns electric moves like, discharge, thunder fang, spark fpound route 203, as pre pre evolved form shinx.
