A Nintendo event is an actual real event that takes place mainly across American and Japan.

Check the official Pokemon website for details on the next one

At a Nintendo event, people of course play Pokemon games, the trading card game etc. Basically all Pokemon fanatic stuff, which should be of interest to anyone who likes it.

-Hope that helped.

Nintendo Events are events, sponsored by Nintendo (hence the name), which are held in real life where you are given Pokemon or Tickets in accordance with the event. For Diamond, the events will reveal the "Member's Pass" for Darkrai, "Oak's Letter" for Shaymin, the "Azure Flute" for Arceus. I'm pretty sure that you must migrate any other nintendo event Pokemon from previous games.

At Nintendo Events, you connect with Mystery Gift in order to obtain these items. To obtain Mystery Gift, go on the third floor of the Jubilife TV Station, and talk to the guy. For the first question, answer with "Everyone Happy". For the second question, answer with "Wi-Fi Connection". You should now have the Mystery Gift fuction on the Main Menu. Unfortunately, Nintendo Events are only held in certain parts of the world. I believe it's only held in Japan and the United States; so if you live elsewhere and you're not traveling to attend a Nintendo Event, then you might want to buy an Action Replay so you can cheat to obtain the necessary items. (However, I also strongly advise you only use an Action Replay for that simple use; cheating too much can ruin your game.)

At the moment, Nintendo Events are held in Japan. They won't be held anywhere else except for the United States, some time in the future. In Japan and the United States, they're held in major cities and/or major areas, such as Tokyo (Japan) or New York City (United States).

A Nintendo Event is an extremely rare wave sent out via WiFi in Japan and New York City that gives you a certain item when you turn your game on. How do you get it? Two ways.
1. Use Action Replay
2. Wait and if you are lucky, you will get it. One in a billion chance.

There are three Events like this, one is a signal that came one time and will never again be released, one cames out rarely, and one is in Japan only.

Again, if you don't live in NYC, you won't get one without Action Replay.

A Nintendo Event, is a special event for Pokemon that is held by both the Nintendo, and the Pokemon Companies. It is only held in two places, Japan, and the United States, very rarely, will the events come to the United Kingdom, but when they do they are usually different from the events held in Japan, and the U.S.

At the Pokemon Events, they give away free Pokemon like level 100 charizards, or a special item needed to get a rare Pokemon like Darkrai. They do this by using WI-FI, the wireless connection ability that is inside the Nintendo DS.
