Why, yes, yes there are actual cheats for Pokemon Diamond. There are the two cloning glitches, and the building in Jubilife City where you can go through the wall, and the old Spin your bike, and make a giant rock wall trick. If you want anything else, you have to have an Action REpaly DS, sorry.
C-i-g wot building in Jub and what wall trick?
I know about the cloning glitch, but...
I can't battle because the nearest Wi-Fi thing is near a pub that is past the next village and the pub flooded
Well there's a bunch of codes for Diamond, but the most are the AR codes, which is only for Action Replay.
I'm sure there is, but you need to ask that here: http://forums.supercheats.com/newtopic.php?forum=1828
Just copy and paste your question in that box and click "Submit Post". Someone should have the code sooner or later, or they'll tell you it's not possible.
I personally can't help you because I don't cheat, but there are people who do, and they're the ones who know what they're talking about xP
By the way, you can also clone Pokemon using GTS, but I'm not quite sure what to do because I also don't have Wi-Fi xP
