Events

Lol, no no no, you got it wrong, you got some things mixed up, allow me to help you out. You cannot find Events, they must come to your town, or somewhere close to you, so you can there, and get whatever prize they are offering to you. You can get a Membership pass at an Event whenever one comes to a town near you, because a membership pass is one of the prizes that they give out at events. You need a Membership pass to unlock the Hotel in Canalave City, and to get to Darkrai. Once you get a Membership pass from an event, or by some other means, fly to Canalave City, and go to the building at the top of the map, it should be locked, and you will not be able to go in. What you are supposed to is click on the sign, and then go click on the door, and it should open, after that follow the strange man to the bed, and go to sleep. When you wake up, you should be on an Island but not to worry, simply follow the path in front of you, go into the next area, and kill Darkrai.

After you kill Darkrai you will wake up, after leaving the Hotel, go speak to the Sailor in front of the ship on the left side of town, and tell him to take you to the island from your dream, when you get there, follow the same path you took earlier, and fight Darkrai again, this time catch him. To get a Membership pass, you can also use an Action Replay, simpler than waiting for an Event to come around.

I'd just like to say, that the likelihood of an event coming to a town near tou is REALLY RARE! They are usually held in Japan, and sometimes other big cities around the world. But rarely. And they are pretty much done with for this game... They hold them not long after a game is released, and since it's over a year since it was released in Japan... There really aren't many, if any on now...

So don't hold out your hopes... Chances are, if you haven't heard of a nintendo even before, it's because none come near where you live.

Bu yeah, you get one of those to meet darkrai... So unless you want to cheat, get used to not having darkrai on your team.

Well, scince they are about to show the Pokemon movie: rise of darkrai, then they should be having a celebration like they did in japan, then they sould have a event coming up for darkrai. But that's all I know.

Nintendo Events are events, sponsored by Nintendo (hence the name), which are held in real life where you are given Pokemon or Tickets in accordance with the event. For Diamond, the events will reveal the "Member's Pass" for Darkrai, "Oak's Letter" for Shaymin, the "Azure Flute" for Arceus, but none of the past tickets for Pokemon such as Deoxys, Mew, Ho-Oh, Lugia, etc. At Nintendo Events, you connect with Mystery Gift in order to obtain these items. To obtain Mystery Gift, go on the third floor of the Jubilife TV Station, and talk to the guy. For the first question, answer with "Everyone Happy". For the second question, answer with "Wi-Fi Connection". You should now have the Mystery Gift fuction on the Main Menu. Unfortunately, Nintendo Events are only held in certain parts of the world. I believe it's only held in Japan and the United States; so if you live elsewhere and you're not traveling to attend a Nintendo Event, then you might want to buy an Action Replay so you can cheat to obtain the necessary items. (However, I also strongly advise you only use an Action Replay for that simple use; cheating too much can ruin your game.)

At the moment, Nintendo Events are only held in Japan. They won't be held in the United States for a while, however.

Nintendo Events are generally held in big cities within Japan and the United States, such as New York City's Time Square.

In any case, as mentioned, you obtain the "Member's Pass" from a Nintendo Event, but you can also obtain it by cheating.
