Me again!

Hi!
If you scroll down, you'll see that I've already asked this question, but I'm still stuck. Basically, I need to get to Lake Acuity, so I need to go up Mount Coronet. However, when you're at the bottom (Route 211) you need to use HM08 Rock Climb, to get up it... Which I don't have. I'm told I can get it on Route 217 on the way to Snowpoint City.
BUT!
Obviously I can't get to Route 217 to get the HM until I have the HM.. Otherwise I can't climb the mountain to get the HM!!! What a stupid situation!!
So, either there's another way around which I don't know about, or I've done someting wrong. If it helps, I'm at that bit in the game where you go to Lake Valor, Lucas goes to Verity and the third guy goes to Acuity. So I've beaten Saturn and Mars but now I need to get up to Acuity. I've got 6 gym badges, if that helps inform you of my level of progression in the game!

I never used it to get through mt coronet... Maybe you're trying to go the wrong way through mt coronet.

Yeah, you can definitely get through without it. So look for another door. I had toruble here, but I think you might just have gone the wrong way. Because when you come out of mt coronet, you end up at the snow.

Without knowing exactly where you're going the wrong way, it's hard to be able to help... I could go back and write you a walkthrough for this bit... But only if you really need it.

Okay, I see your problem. To get to Route 216, Route 217, Acuity Lakefront/Lake Acuity, and Snowpoint City, you need to get through the Mt. Coronet entrance near Eterna City, or Celestic Town. The path through this part of Mt. Coronet is really short and simple. Just go as far north as you can, and you'll be on Route 216 in no time.

Once you're on Route 217, be on the lookout for HM08 Rock Climb. Once you get to Acuity Lakefront, ignore that and go on to Snowpoint City. Obtain the seventh badge, then go back to Acuity Lakefront and go in Lake Acuity to watch your rival lose. Then, go to Veilstone City... I'll leave the rest up to you.
