Hi!!! My names mchappy08
Ive clocked Pokemon diamond and yes you have to beat the elite for to get him. Rotom is a great pokemon. Good luck

Disregard the above answers. I see you tried to answer the question on whether or not you have to beat the Elite Four to catch Rotom.

To properly answer a question, what you must do is scroll to the bottom of the page. You should see a wide box, and underneath it with a check box that says "Accept submission terms", and with a button that says "Submit Your Answer!". Fill in your answer in the box, click the checkbox, and then click the button.

I hope I helped out, although it had nothing to do with Pokemon Diamond. :D

Okay...

First, Rotom is not a great Pokemon, he sucks. I caught mine with a masterball that I migrated, so I could get a good nature with him. I spent a week raising my Rotom to level 100, and guess what? He still sucked. Second, This is not a question, so you shouldn't have posted it here, you should have submitted this into the hints section, but it still wouldn't be up to the standards that a submission has to be. But I'm done here...
